Exports during the same period last year stood at 81.89 billion
Information Technology Minister Aminul Haq said that the IT export volume has reached 2.38 billion
A statement issued by IT Minister Aminul Haq said that exports during the same period last fiscal year stood at 1.89 80 billion.
IT export volume in May was £183m and steps are being taken to bring IT exports to record levels.
He said it was essential to provide relief to the telecoms sector to get the desired results from the IT sector and if the taxation of the telecoms sector was not reduced, the sector would be severely affected.
Amin-ul-Haq said that with the implementation of the tax relief given to the IT industry, things will improve.
