The federal government has decided to pass on all the benefits of the reduction in oil prices in the global market to the people, and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has requested a summary of the reduction in oil prices from the Ministry of Petroleum and the Ministry Finance. .
On the other hand, sources from the Oil Ministry indicated that a summary of price reductions for oil derivatives has been prepared and the Oil Ministry prepared a summary and sent it to the Ministry of Finance.
The sources said that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif ordered to transfer the oil price reduction relief to the people, and the Oil Ministry prepared the summary in light of the Prime Minister's instructions.
Relevant officials said the Ministry of Finance will complete the regulation process and send a summary to the Prime Minister for approval.
The sources said that the prices of petroleum products are expected to fall in the next 24 hours, especially the prices of gasoline and diesel between Rs 15 and 20 per litre.
Currently, the price of gasoline in the country is Rs 249.40 per liter and the price of diesel is Rs 276.
It should be noted that the current government has increased the price of petrol by Rs 100 and diesel by Rs 142 per liter under the agreement with the IMF.
Crude oil prices on the world market have dropped to 97 97 per barrel this month after a significant reduction.
